Statement from RHF of Solidarity Following the Arson Attack on Peacehaven Mosque

We are deeply shocked and saddened by the recent arson attack on the mosque in Peacehaven.

This hateful act stands in complete opposition to the values of peace, respect, and unity that define our community.

At this difficult time, we stand in full solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters. No one should ever feel unsafe in their place of worship or be targeted because of their faith.

We extend our heartfelt support to the congregation and the wider Muslim community, and we join all those calling for justice, understanding, and healing.

Let this moment strengthen our collective resolve to reject hate in all its forms and to continue building a community rooted in compassion, inclusion, and mutual respect.
